Words from the rescuer: “Someone put the little kitten in a plastic bag and threw it in the stream next to the camp. A little girl told this little boy he rescued it from the river and he’s been carrying it around in his jacket and feeding it from his own food ever since. I told him we want to give the kitten the best chance ever and he asked me if it will get to have its own family one day. He let the kitten go to a better life with tears in his eyes. I told him that one day I will show him photos of exactly that.”

Merlin is a handy guy to have around the house too. He will “help” you with the laundry, dusting, making the bed, vacuuming and even cleaning out the litter boxes. The only thing Merlin loves as much as playing is eating. Weighing in at 4 pounds, pushes the big kitties out of the way to get to the good stuff.

 

When this little guy is worn out from all that playing and eating, all he wants is a cozy lap to snuggle in for a nice long nap (also known as “recharging his batteries”).
